Example: Argument from Ignorance

We’re all guilty of using logical fallacies but noone performs them with such dramatic flare as Donald Trump.

From Latin, Argumentum Ad Ignorantiam, assuming something is true because it has not yet been proven false.

Trump tweeted:

Donald Trump Argument from Ignorance

Obviously, just because there is “no sufficient evidence” doesn’t mean that it did or, did not, happen. Neither does it mean that he’s a “bad reporter” for saying so, he’s just reporting that there is not evidence, which was probably factual correct. (Also, saying he is a bad reporter is an Ad Hominem).
